Join a thriving, upscale, independent optometry practice We are a locally owned optometry practice seeking a reliable, patient-focused optician to join our energetic and friendly team. We take pride in delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced practice while creating a positive, enjoyable workplace. A warm personality, strong communication skills, and attention to detail are essential. We are looking for someone that has a commitment to patient care. Could you be the right fit for our team? Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Advising and life style prescribing optical products for eyeglasses and sunglasses
  • Interpreting vision plans and accurately pricing out eyewear copays for VSP, Eyemed, and Spectera while following structured sales and invoicing protocols
  • Dispensing, fitting, and adjusting eyewear
  • Problem solving vision concerns related to eyewear utilizing optical knowledge
  • Communicating with patients and ensuring orders are completed accurately and delivered on time
  • Edging lenses, verifying prescriptions with a lensometer
  • Competency with contact lens sales is preferred
  • Competency using electronic health records; familiarity with Crystal PM is preferred
  • Various administrative duties to support practice operations Schedule and Benefits This is a full-time position of approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday.
