10 Days On / 4 Days Off (10/4) Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Lead / Electrical Commissioning Engineer to support a large-scale project in Reno, NV. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with MV/LV electrical systems, power distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, ATS, NETA testing, and electrical energization .

Verify installation, QA/QC documentation, torque testing, insulation resistance testing, and NETA test results. Support commissioning of MV/LV switchgear, transformers, MCC/MDB, ATS, generators, load centers, and panelboards . Verify protective device settings and electrical equipment readiness before energization. Lead L3 electrical energization , including phasing, voltage verification, protective settings, and approved energization sequences. Coordinate with vendors, contractors, QA/QC, controls, mechanical, and commissioning teams. Track and resolve commissioning issues using CX Alloy . Support L4-L5 functional testing, troubleshooting, and final commissioning . Provide field leadership and technical support throughout the commissioning process. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in electrical commissioning, electrical construction, or power systems . Strong MV/LV electrical distribution experience. Experience with switchgear, transformers, generators, ATS, MCC/MDB, and protective devices . Experience with NETA testing and electrical energization . Ability to read electrical drawings and single-line diagrams. Strong field coordination and troubleshooting skills. Data center / mission-critical commissioning experience preferred. Willingness to work a 10/4 schedule in Reno, NV .
