Job Description
If you are a team player with a passion to drive your career in Electrical Engineering, Popli Design Group (PDG) is the place for you! PDG is seeking a Junior Engineer to add to our growing and talented team. As a Junior Engineer your main responsibilities include working under the guidance and support of more experienced Engineers. You will be involved in collecting data and gathering information to be used in various documents. Additionally, you will perform standard analysis tasks and utilize software such as AutoCAD and/or REVIT, with close supervision, to create plans for building designs. Your role will also involve designing sections of electrical systems for new and renovated buildings, covering aspects such as power distribution and lighting. The perfect candidate should possess a basic to advanced working knowledge of electrical circuit theory and design. It is important to have a basic understanding of power distribution, computer network systems, and associated communications infrastructures. Familiarity with signals and controls is also required. Proficiency in CAD software principles, supported by academic experience in a CAD software package, is necessary. The position typically requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Electrical Engineering from an ABET Accredited program. Relevant experience of up to three years is preferred. Responsibilities Guided by and provides support to more experienced Engineers. Collects data and gathers information for documents.
