Job Description

Power Distribution & Automation Systems Engineer Location:
On‑site We're seeking an engineer to support electrical power systems and Honeywell‑based building automation across a complex R D environment. You'll help ensure reliable operation of critical utilities, support infrastructure upgrades, and partner across facilities, EHS, security, and IT teams. Responsibilities Maintain and support primary/backup electrical power systems. Manage Honeywell BMS, EMS, Security, and Fire Alarm systems. Support control systems for HVAC, chilled water, boilers, steam, purified water, and other utilities. Provide engineering input for capital plans and infrastructure projects. Support electrical and automation aspects of facility and lab upgrades. Partner with EHS, Business Continuity, Security, and Digital/IT on reliability and risk mitigation. Identify opportunities to improve system performance and efficiency. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. 3+ years with electrical systems in regulated or technical environments. Experience with PLC/HMI programming, power monitoring, and IoT/SMART building technologies. Knowledge of Ethernet/fiber networking, diagnostics, and CMMS tools. Strong communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency with Windows and MS Office.
