Job Description

Test Engineer supporting automotive powertrain and hybrid system validation through test setup, execution, analysis, and reporting.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor of Science degree 0-3 years of experience in the automotive industry Experience with powertrain control devices Experience with hybrid electrical systems Experience with electrical hardware or reliability testing Experience with systems diagnostics Experience with product testing Experience with Vector tools, including
CANape, CANbus, and CANoe Preferred Skills:
Experience creating test specifications and test standards Experience preparing and setting up test equipment Experience analyzing test results and identifying performance or failure trends Experience recommending design changes and countermeasures based on test results Experience documenting results in written reports and formal presentations
Job Responsibilities:
Create data settings, test specifications, standards, and test schedules Prepare and set up test equipment Conduct moderately complex tests and verify testing accuracy and thoroughness Determine whether additional testing is required Document and summarize test results and conclusions Analyze and interpret test results to predict performance and failure modes Provide product and design data based on testing outcomes Identify issues and develop countermeasures Communicate test results through written reports and formal presentations Propose design changes and recommend countermeasures based on analysis
