View More Jobs Facilities Maint Tech Urbana, OH, United States (On-site) Be the First to Apply Job Description As a Facilities Maintenance Technician here at Honeywell , you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of building systems and equipment to support the safety and functionality of our facilities. Your expertise will help maintain a productive and safe work environment by promptly addressing maintenance issues and performing routine inspections and repairs. You will report directly to our Facilities Manager and you'll work out of our Urbana, OH location on an On-site work schedule. In this role, you will impact the overall operational reliability and safety of Honeywell's facilities, enabling uninterrupted business operations and contributing to a safe and comfortable workplace for all employees. Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose and repair facility equipment and infrastructure issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain operational continuity.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects as needed.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to facility operations.
- Ability to use maintenance management software and tools to track work orders and maintenance schedules.
