Role Overview We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support the delivery of a hyperscale data center project in Pryor, OK. This individual will play a critical role in the integration, programming, and commissioning of building automation and control systems supporting mission-critical infrastructure. The Controls Engineer will work closely with general contractors, commissioning teams, vendors, and client stakeholders to ensure that all control systems are installed, configured, and operating according to project specifications and performance requirements. This role requires strong experience with industrial automation, PLC systems, instrumentation, and building management systems within complex construction environments. Responsibilities Support the design review, configuration, and implementation of control systems for mechanical and electrical infrastructure. Assist with programming, troubleshooting, and integration of PLC-based control systems. Configure and support BMS (Building Management Systems) and EPMS platforms. Coordinate with vendors to ensure proper installation of instrumentation, sensors, and control devices. Support integration of control systems for cooling plants, HVAC systems, pumps, chillers, generators, and power monitoring systems. Assist with control logic verification and sequence-of-operation testing. Validate communication between control systems, field devices, and monitoring platforms. Partner with commissioning teams to support functional testing and system startup activities. Participate in system validation, troubleshooting, and performance testing. Assist with documenting system performance and resolving control-related issues. Work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, and equipment vendors to resolve technical issues. Review project drawings, specifications, and sequences of operation. Ensure systems are installed and configured according to project requirements and best practices. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or related equivalent field experience 5+ years of experience working with industrial automation or building controls. Experience with PLC programming and control system integration. Experience with BMS, SCADA, or EPMS systems. Familiarity with instrumentation, sensors, and control devices used in large facilities. Ability to read and interpret control diagrams, electrical drawings, and sequences of operation. Preferred Experience Experience supporting mission-critical or hyperscale data center projects. Experience working with platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, or Johnson Controls. Experience supporting commissioning and startup activities. Knowledge of HVAC control systems and cooling plant automation
