Electrical Engineer

Do you like adventure and problem solving? Have a great mix of both work in the office and some travel. Electrical Engineering and PLC Programming for proprietary machinery that is shipped internationally. Once the job has shipped this position goes to the field to supervise installation and will revisit the job site for troubleshooting as needed.

Travel to places like:

Portugal, Spain, Europe, Japan, Asia. No travel to areas that are deemed unsafe for Americans to travel.

Job Duties:

Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering for programming and automation of mechanical equipment to be installed in Pulp and Paper Mills. Mainly handling and packaging equipment. Supervisory Installations of equipment Maintenance of equipment Promotion of service contracts and parts Travel is both domestic and international roughly 5 to 6 times a year, normally 7 to 14 day trips, but could be at times more.

Requirements:

Qualifications Experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC's (5 years exp.) Mechanical skills with hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical machinery (5 years exp) Engineering Degree in Electrical Deduction skills for troubleshooting and repairing machinery in the field. (blue print reading) Customer Service skills to work with and train customers in the field. (computer and communication) Resourceful and Professional to represent the Company in business dealings while traveling both foreign and domestic. (travel and customer interface) Must be able to drive and travel (drivers license and passport) no criminal charges or other circumstances that would prevent travel to other countries.
