Location:
Corvallis, OR | Hybrid We're seeking a Career level Instrumentation and Controls Engineer who is excited about working on advanced facilities site based projects that enable the heart of our client's business. Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including state of the art industrial and commercial facilities. You and the other team members will work closely with the well-established client owners in a fast paced, dynamic environment to maintain schedule, design requirements, system integration and programming tasks. Your role keeps our company connected and we'll support you with what you need to be successful. Here's what you'll perform: Participate in the development of proposals, budgets and schedules for process specific work. Responsible for the development and implementation of instrumentation control for manufacturing process equipment and associated safety and automation systems. Provide in process support of controls in a manufacturing environment. Design of facility control systems and SCADA projects. Design of P&ID's, loop drawings, control panels, and detailed wiring diagrams. Sequence of Operation (SOO) development. Perform technical and business presentations with clients and employees. Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution. At least 6 Years of experience working with Instrumentation and Control. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Professional Engineer (PE) licensure. Understanding of NFPA and UL508A standards and requirements. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas. Ideally, you'll also have: Ability to lead small design team. Basic understanding of industrial cybersecurity principles and best practices. Knowledge of gas and life safety systems and standards. Development and programming ability for PLC, SCADA, and HMI devices. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams. Industrial design experience including pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor facilities, data center, or similar. Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit and/or Navisworks. Passionate about buildings, construction, and control systems.
Additional Details:
Preference given to local candidates near Corvallis OR., Relocation may be provided to well qualified candidates. Field work includes active sustaining construction environments.
