POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Electrical Project Engineer to join our team. You will bridge the gap between office planning and field installation on residential, multifamily, commercial, and industrial electrical projects, including generator systems and EV charging infrastructure.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Engineer Projects:
Design and lay out electrical systems from concept through construction, including service sizing, feeder and branch circuit design, generator systems, and EV charging infrastructure.
▪
Technical Oversight:
Review electrical drawings and specifications, verify load calculations, panel schedules, and one-line diagrams, and resolve design conflicts through Requests for Information (RFIs).
▪
Code Compliance & Safety:
Monitor field installations for compliance with the NEC, Oregon Electrical Specialty Code, NFPA 70E, and OSHA requirements, and support crews through permitting and inspections.
▪
Submittals & Coordination:
Prepare and track submittals for switchgear, panelboards, lighting, generators, and EV chargers, and act as a primary liaison between field crews general contractors, utilities, clients, and senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Requirements:
Valid driver's license and ability to pass a required drug test.
▪
Experience:
Background in electrical construction, electrical engineering, or project engineering support.
▪
Software Proficiency:
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and project management tools.
▪
Technical Knowledge:
Solid understanding of the NEC, electrical distribution systems, load calculations, and construction drawings, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills under tight deadlines.
▪
Preferred Certifications:
Electrical PE license track, Oregon electrical license, or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday, 8-10 hour shifts, day shift, with occasional Saturday work as needed.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
$22-$30/hour, depending on experience, with strong opportunities for advancement.
