Permanent Job type: Full-Time Autoneum is globally leading in acoustic and thermal management for light and commercial vehicles. The Company develops and produces multifunctional, lightweight and sustainable components and systems for interior floor, interior trim as well as engine bay and underbody. Customers include almost all automobile manufacturers in Europe, North & South America, Asia and Africa. The Company with its head-quarters in Winterthur, Switzerland, is listed on the SIX Swiss Ex-change (ticker symbol AUTN). Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensures plant Control Systems function as required to support production needs. Take ownership of assigned projects and drive projects from initiation to completion. Take initiative to identify & drive continuous improvement of existing control systems. Responsible for creating / modifying electrical drawings to document control system wiring & configuration. Responsible for programming, documentation and maintenance of PLC controllers (primarily Allen-Bradley) and Operator Interfaces (primarily Allen-Bradley & C-more). Responsible for plant electrical power distribution (12,470VAC / 480VAC / 240VAC). Responsible for purchasing parts in support of projects and equipment breakdowns Other duties as assigned Education and Experience 4-year technical degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology 2-5 years electrical and controls engineering background in a manufacturing environment Experience with control system design and creating electrical drawings Experience with Allen-Bradley
PLC & HMI
Hardware & Programming Software Experience with Variable Speed Drives (primarily ABB and Allen-Bradley) Experience with Servo Drives (primarily Allen-Bradley) Demonstrated ability in technical problem solving related to manufacturing control systems Are you excited to work in a global and multi-cultural work environment and are you looking for an inspiring and engaging workplace?
