Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer for a direct hire opportunity with a Global Manufacturing Company located in Pittsburgh, PA.

Compensation:

$100,000 - $140,000 per year, W2

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge automation solutions and power drive technologies for the metals industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Experience with DC and AC drive upgrades

Review basic power system requirements for drive feeders and protection

Outline regulator performance/response based on process applications

Share technical expertise in areas of the metals industry such as Melting, Casting or Rolling Mill applications for all project life cycles (sales, development,missioning, and support)

Support existing installed systems and assist customers with challenging technical issues through process knowledge, data analysis and implementation

Complete assignments requiring development of new and/or improved engineering techniques and procedures

Interface andmunicate with local project team (project managers, engineers, support personnel) and internal experts from other areas as well as customers and suppliers to provide engineering solutions to technical issues and project-related matters

Mentor young engineers during project design and execution

Perform on sitemissioning and training as required

Primary Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Extensive experience in an engineering role in the metals or a similar industry
• Experience with automation, power and drive systems
• Experience in automation practices
• Demonstrates ability to engineering principles to the solution of design problems
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and mentor less experienced personnel
• Be willing to travel to support the project work
• Extensive experience at data analysis and troubleshooting
• Excellent oral and writtenmunication skills as well as excellentputer skills
