We're seeking a passionate and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our Boise, Idaho office. As a key member of our Cities and Places team, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to deliver electrical engineering solutions for commercial, institutional, municipal, and other complex facility projects across the United States and globally. In this role, you'll contribute to all phases of project delivery, from planning and design through construction support, applying your technical expertise to develop reliable, efficient, and code-compliant building electrical systems. If you're up for the challenge, we've been looking for someone just like you. #LI-AC2 Here's what you'll need Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. 5-10 years relevant professional experience. Knowledge of applicable building codes, electrical standards, and industry best practices. Experience with electrical design software and calculation tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Experience working in a multi-discipline team. Solid working knowledge of the National Electrical Code. Ideally, you'll also have: Professional Engineering Registration (P.E.) Experience using building BIM drafting software (AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit) Experience designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial, or municipal facilities. Jacobs has an unlimited U.S. Personalized Paid Time Off (PPTO) policy for full-time salaried/exempt employees, seven paid holidays, and caregiver leave. And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $132,750.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
