Job Description

A leading company specializing in electrical systems is hiring an Electrical Engineer III. This full-time role is remote, based in Rancho Cordova, CA, and involves designing and optimizing low and medium voltage power systems. The position offers an opportunity to work on complex electrical designs and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The application deadline for this role is 09/10/2026.

Electrical Engineer III Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical components such as switchboards and switchgear according to customer specifications. Create detailed schematics, drawings, and elevations focusing on power distribution, protection, and control. Select appropriate electrical parts, ensuring compliance with performance criteria and standards. Develop and verify System Sequences of Operation and support testing phases.

Collaborate with manufacturing and field teams to troubleshoot, validate, and optimize physical systems and designs.

Electrical Engineer III Qualifications:

Over 8 years of experience in electrical or related engineering fields. Strong knowledge of electrical standards including UL, NEC, ANSI, and IEEE. Proficiency with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical, or EPLAN. Experience with automation, high-reliability electrical assemblies, or test systems is a plus.
