NV5's Cary, NC office has a great opportunity for a senior level electrical engineer to support our growing Planning and Design Group! This position requires a candidate with strong leadership skills and technical expertise in executing and managing the electrical design of complex projects in the pharmaceutical and laboratory facility design field. The ability to balance technical proficiency with project management skills is crucial for success in this role. PE is required. Must be able to commit to a hybrid work schedule with at least 3 days in the Cary, NC office. Responsibilities Responsible for developing, designing, and managing all electrical design of complex projects in the life sciences field, especially with pharmaceutical, laboratory, and clean room design experience. Weekly reporting to individual project managers on project status, budget, and schedule. Generate and review calculations, equipment specifications, controls drawings, and construction drawings. Maintain familiarity with current industry standards, trends, technologies, building codes and cGMP standards. Develop proposals and client presentations. Travel to sites approximately 15-20% of the time.
