One position includes extensive capital projects/ project management. Please indicate the role you are interested in when applying. Position #1: Electrical Program Manager This position will play a critical role in managing and executing large capital projects. The role emphasizes power distribution system design, implementation, and maintenance, alongside integration and support of control systems to ensure reliable and efficient plant operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Capital Project Management Lead the design, planning, and execution of power distribution systems for large capital projects, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and business goals. Project Leadership Act as the Electrical Project Lead, developing project scopes, cost estimates, schedules, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Power Distribution Expertise Design and specify medium and low voltage power distribution equipment, switchgear, transformers, motor control centers (MCCs), and protective relaying systems. Controls Integration Collaborate with controls engineers to integrate power distribution equipment and protective relays with PLCs, HMIs, DCSs, and SCADA systems for monitoring and control. Provide technical input on control system architecture related to power distribution. Technical Oversight Prepare technical specifications, review vendor proposals, and recommend equipment and system designs that optimize reliability, maintainability, and safety. Field Support and Troubleshooting Oversee installation and commissioning of power distribution and control systems. Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical support to resolve electrical and control system issues. Standards and Compliance Develop and maintain electrical design standards, procedures, arc flash studies, and documentation to ensure consistent application and regulatory compliance. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with production, maintenance, EH&S, and external contractors to align project execution with operational requirements and safety protocols.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent. A minimum of 10 years of experience in installation and maintenance. Proven experience managing capital projects with a strong emphasis on power distribution systems in an industrial setting. In-depth knowledge of medium and low voltage power distribution design, protective relays, switchgear, transformers, and MCCs. Familiarity with industrial control systems, including PLC programming and HMI development. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under deadlines. Expertise in power distribution system design and implementation. Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance. Proficient in preparing technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical and control system issues. Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams. Familiarity with control system integration and architecture. Commitment to Environmental, Health & Safety best practices. Familiarity with Arc Flash studies and electrical safety program development.
PREFERRED
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Experience with Rockwell, DeltaV, and GE PLC platforms, and Wonderware HMIs. Large project experience (>$20M). Experience in heavy manufacturing industries such as glass, metals, and chemicals. Experience with energy efficiency technologies and plant performance optimization. Familiarity with advanced project management tools and methodologies (e.g., PMP certification). Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification. PMP certification.•Position #2 Senior Controls Engineer (Machine Controls Design) Hybrid/Remote work possible: Larger cities within reasonable driving distance are all considered options Candidate would need to be willing to travel to corporate and customer sites as needed but travel will be fairly limited after initial weeks of onboarding Activities that would typically demand on site support are commissioning and testing of controls/electrical designs said candidate developed

OEM level electrical/controls design and development This is considered front end experience vs. end user experience Experience with ground up controls strategy and program development per defined performance requirements of automated systems Material handling equipment is nice, but we can entertain experience in all forms of equipment automation (again OEM, not end user) Ability to train less experienced Controls Engineers, and Controls Technicians
JOB SUMMARY
Controls Engineers collaborate with customers and internal team members to execute control system development on schedule, based on a thorough understanding of mechanical and electrical technical specifications. They are capable of working independently, working on longer term projects under supervision, conducting testing, troubleshooting, and collaborating with technical or non-technical colleagues through project execution as needed. The individual in this role will interact with all phases of the New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle including up front design definition, supporting production builds, creating BOM's and drawings, as well as supporting new products in the field with technical support as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following: Design and document company products using systems such as AutoCAD Electrical, EPlan, Studio 5000, and more Program HMIs and PLCs to accomplish specific material handling automation project objectives Create bills of material and routings for use in cost estimates and manufacturing Create and/or guide other technical team members in authoring owner's manuals, test procedures, and other engineering deliverables as required Perform engineering computations and analysis for sizing controls hardware Maintain and update project documentation, including design specifications, progress reports, and technical deliverables Partner with cross functional peers to conduct prototype testing and development Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This role has no direct reporting responsibilities Able to provide basic technical leadership in guiding cross functional peers through portions of the NPD process
TRAVEL DEMANDS
This position may require occasional travel to headquarters or customer sites up to 25%. This travel may be required with little notice, including weekends and holidays in some cases.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Proficient in creating, reading, and interpreting electrical schematics Proficient in PLC programming (multiple systems, but AB is primary), HMI configurations, and SCADA systems Proficient in Controls and Electrical Engineering fundamentals Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and address project issues proactively. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Familiarity with package sortation, unit handling conveyor, or other related products and its associated control systems preferred. Proficient in NEC, Electrical Standards for Industrial Machinery, and UL regulatory compliance Ability to maintain positive and professional working relationships with all staff at all levels/functions of organization Successful completion of 90-day probationary period
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Systems Engineering, or related field. Experience in electrical or control systems engineering, with a proven track record in managing project schedules, scope, and change orders. Ability to read and interpret mechanical/electrical schematics and customer specifications. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers using English. Excellent math skills are required.
