Job Description

Job Summary:
The Senior Electrical Engineer (Test) provides hands-on design in developing test equipment for all phases of electrical and electromechanical projects. This individual has a significant impact on product innovation, cost, schedule, and feature set. This individual will retain technical ownership of test equipkment throughout the design, development, production, and support phases.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work as part of project development teams to understand the products to be tested Architect, design, prototype, verify and document complex test equipment for development, qualification, and production testing of RAVE products Select suppliers for COTS items Design printed circuit boards such as development breakout boards and custom test equipment interfaces Design cabling for connection to units under test and internal to equipment Integrate test equipment with Manufacturing Software Work with the team on project schedules to ensure test equipment is available on time Interface with regulatory testing agencies to secure approvals such as FCC and CE Provide support to factory in resolving production test issues Perform other job-related duties as assigned Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field 6+ years of experience working in similar role Well versed in electromagnetic compatibility regulatory requirements and mitigation of problems found during testing Proven track record in meeting project goals and objectives Experience in the In-Flight Entertainment (IFE, IFEC) industry, avionics industry Benefits The starting pay range for this position is $112,500 to $127,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
