Duties Help As a Supervisory Electrical Engineer, some of your typical work assignments may include: Leading and overseeing the evaluion of reliability standards, engineering analyses, reliability assessments, tariff provisions, compliance and other regulory policy mters affecting the reliability of the bulk power system, ensuring alignment with stutory and regulory requirements. Assisting in setting Division priorities, managing workload distribution, and ensuring timely completion of high-impact regulory and technical deliverables. Providing leadership in managing and evaluing staff performance, and in employee development and workforce planning, while fostering accountability, collaborion, and high performance. Evaluing complex technical, regulory, and operional issues and da to facilite staff's ability to develop evidence-based technical recommendions for senior leadership and Commission decision-making. Building and maintaining effective working relionships with internal offices, external agencies, and industry stakeholders to support regulory objectives. Specialized experience is defined as:
Experience leading and managing complex engineering, regulory, or operional programs reled to electric power systems, reliability standards, or energy infrastructure. Experience must include applying expert knowledge of bulk power system operions, reliability standards, and regulory frameworks to evalue technical, compliance, or policy issues; directing multidisciplinary teams; prioritizing and overseeing high-impact work products; and advising senior leadership on mters affecting system reliability, security, and compliance. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through Nional Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizions (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience th transles directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including any volunteer experience.
