Onsite - onsite Responsibilities Lead the preliminary design phase through to final implementation of all electrical work and equipment. Supervise the day-to-day activities of the electrical team, ensuring project deadlines and deliverables are met. Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure design manufacturability and quality improvement. Develop simple schematics, equipment foundations, and arrangement drawings using AutoCAD. Review and revise electrical drawings, check and complete ECR's as needed. Ensure designs comply with construction drawings, shipbuilding standards, and regulations such as ABS and Coast Guard rules. Verify vendor drawings and oversee system design integration, coordinating with lofting and design teams. Coordinate installation activities with trades and review purchase orders for major electrical equipment. Provide field support during production and construction phases. Requirements BSEE or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Marine, or Mechanical Engineering or significant industry experience. Minimum of 5-15 years of electrical engineering experience in maritime or military sectors. Proficient in developing electrical schematics, using AutoCAD 3D, Ship Constructor Software, and MS Office Suite. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective coordination across teams. Demonstrated strategic planning, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
