Job Description

Our client is growing their multi-discipline engineering practice and is seeking a licensed PE Electrical Engineer to lead the design of building electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. This is a hands-on engineering role with leadership responsibility, technical ownership, and the opportunity to mentor junior staff while working closely with clients . The successful candidate will also have an opportunity to be a Partner in the firm. This is a direct hire position for our client.
Salary:
$100,000 to $125,000 Depending on

Greenville, SC What You'll Do As a PE Electrical Engineer, you'll take ownership of electrical system design from concept through construction.
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Design and engineer power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems Perform load calculations, short-circuit and fault current analysis, and coordination studies Develop single-line diagrams, panel schedules, wiring layouts, and technical specifications Produce and review drawings using AutoCAD and Revit (BIM) Support construction activities including site visits, submittal reviews, and commissioning Coordinate designs with mechanical, civil, and structural teams Mentor junior engineers/designers and provide QA/QC oversight Interface with clients, utilities, and vendors to ensure code compliance and on-time delivery Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering Active Professional Engineer (PE) license Strong experience with electrical power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage system design Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit Working knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and applicable state/local electrical codes Previous Project Management experience Forensic engineering or failure analysis experience a plus Renewable energy systems (solar PV), generators, or UPS systems experience a plus Client development or proposal writing experience a plus Why Join Us Work on diverse, technically challenging projects Be part of a collaborative, multi-discipline engineering team Opportunity for technical leadership and career growth Strong focus on engineering quality, mentorship, and long-term client relationships Stable schedule with short Fridays Limited Travel Apply today to join a collaborative engineering team where your expertise directly supports growth, quality, and client success.
