Support facility engineering and construction projects at an automotive manufacturing plant , coordinating schedules, monitoring construction activities, and ensuring work complies with engineering drawings, specifications, codes, and safety requirements. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil/Structural, or Electrical Engineering . 5+ years of related engineering/construction experience; 10+ years preferred . Strong project coordination, troubleshooting, and technical communication skills. Working knowledge of building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and safety codes/regulations . Advanced Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of IBC, NEC, and NFPA codes/standards. Automotive plant construction experience highly preferred . Regional candidates preferred. Job Responsibilities Coordinate construction schedules, critical paths, milestones, and project deliverables. Monitor field construction for compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and engineering standards. Prepare weekly progress reports, photographs, look-ahead schedules, action items, and project concerns. Coordinate activities between Facilities Engineering, general contractors, vendors, and maintenance teams . Lead assigned task teams and drive projects toward effective, turnkey engineering solutions. #
