Job Description

Primary Job Function :
Electrical / Manufacturing Engineer functions are to organize, manage and schedule projects to insure existing or new manufacturing equipment productivity. A segment of this position is responsible for developing and implementing engineering continuous improvement projects. This position is responsible for maintaining and upgrading plant power systems and equipment controls. This position supports all engineering, manufacturing and maintenance branches to maintain or increases manufacturing productivity. Effective documentation and drawings are updated as required.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Organize and coordinate assigned engineering capital projects. Recommend replacement parts for manufacturing equipment as necessary. Maintain and upgrade the plant power systems as needed. Support the maintenance department in troubleshooting, repairing and upgrading manufacturing equipment. Build control panels, upgrade controls of manufacturing equipment as necessary. Research different suppliers for equipment parts and project components. Modify and update AutoCad and
SOLIDWORKS
drawings of existing and new production equipment as required. Support and maintain the production processes at the UIC&F facility. Other duties necessary to perform this job as deemed necessary by management.
Preferred Experience:
Electrical Degree or minimum of 10 years of related electrical and manufacturing experience.
Special Skills:
Experience in AutoCAD and SOLIDWORKS, Microsoft Office, Strong Electrical Background, Strong Manufacturing Background, Working knowledge of 5S and Kaizen programs.
