WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Electrical Design & Development Assist with electrical design activities for residential HVAC control products. Support circuit evaluation, component selection, and design verification efforts. Contribute to engineering documentation and design-related activities. Gain exposure to industry-standard hardware development processes. Prototype Assembly & Testing Assist with prototype assembly, validation, and laboratory testing activities. Support engineers in conducting electrical and functional testing of hardware systems. Help collect, organize, and analyze test results to support product development efforts. Participate in troubleshooting and debugging activities to identify and resolve hardware issues. Product Documentation & Analysis Assist with maintaining product documentation, test records, and technical reports. Support engineering teams with technical investigations and project-related documentation. Help track project progress and communicate findings to team members. Contribute to process improvements and documentation updates as needed. Team & Project Support Collaborate with hardware engineers and cross-functional teams on engineering initiatives. Support assigned project work throughout the internship, including planning, testing, and reporting activities. Participate in team meetings, technical reviews, and project discussions. Present project findings and accomplishments to Lennox leadership at the conclusion of the internship.
POTENTIAL PROJECT OPPORTUNITIES
Residential HVAC Controls Support the design, development, and testing of residential HVAC control systems. Assist with prototype evaluation, product verification, and troubleshooting efforts. Contribute to engineering activities that improve product performance and reliability.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Graduate degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Completion of electrical design coursework. Basic understanding of electronic circuits and circuit analysis. Familiarity with electrical laboratory equipment and testing procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing priorities. Good time management and organizational skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
