This role focuses on electrical design within a panel shop environment, blending Power Systems and Estimating expertise. The position involves drafting electrical schematics, panel layouts, and P&IDs while ensuring compliance with NEC standards. Candidates will collaborate with the engineering team to ensure all designs function effectively and meet industry standards. Key Responsibilities:

Draft electrical schematics and panel layouts to meet project specifications and compliance standards. Collaborate with the mechanical design team to develop P&IDs and enclosure classification drawings. Utilize knowledge of high, medium, and low voltage systems to design effective power distribution solutions. Conduct fieldwork and orientation as needed to ensure designs are implemented correctly in the field. Estimate costs for skid additions and ensure adherence to project budgets.

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required. A minimum of five (5) years of direct work experience in electrical engineering is necessary. Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs is essential for this role. Knowledge of electrical schematics and panel layouts is required. Familiarity with P&IDs and enclosure classification drawings is necessary to meet project needs.
