Electrical System Design for Automated Machinery Designing the electrical architecture for custom robotic cells, automated workstations, and material‑handling systems. Creating wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and cable routing plans used in build and integration processes. Ensuring all designs meet internal standards as well as UL 508A and customer‑specific requirements. 2. Control Panel Development Designing and supporting the build of UL‑compliant control panels for automation systems. Selecting components such as breakers, relays, power supplies, drives, and terminal blocks based on project needs. Collaborating with panel builders to ensure panels are built accurately and to spec. 3. Motor, Drive, and Motion System Support Assisting in the selection of servo motors, VFDs, and actuators used in automated equipment. 4. PLC, HMI, and Industrial Network Integration Supporting the setup of industrial networks such as EtherCAT and safety networks. 5. Safety System Implementation Designing safety circuits including e‑stops, light curtains, safety relays, and interlocks used in robotic cells. Ensuring compliance with customer safety requirements and industry standards. Supporting risk assessments and safety validation during commissioning. 6. Testing, Debugging, and Commissioning Troubleshooting wiring issues, device communication problems, and power distribution faults. Supporting on‑site installation, startup, and customer acceptance testing. 7. Cross‑Team Collaboration Working closely with mechanical engineers, controls engineers, and project managers to deliver complete automation solutions. Providing electrical input during design reviews and project planning. Supporting continuous improvement of Syntertech's engineering standards and build processes
