Responsibilities As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of a multidisciplinary engineering and construction team responsible for developing, integrating, and delivering engineering solutions for complex electrical projects within the mission‑critical sector. This role involves producing a wide range of project deliverables, including drawings, specifications, product selection, installation sequence planning, and commissioning testing/commissioning scripts. + Familiarity with NEC, NESC, IEEE, IEC, and local building codes. + Develop and produce conceptual design to construction documents, detailed equipment layout, single and three-line diagrams, grounding, and feeder routing with limited supervision by Senior Engineers, including the design or integration of the following: + Normal power medium and low voltage distribution systems + Emergency power generation and distribution systems, including UPS + Coordinate device locations with other trades, including mechanical, plumbing, or other (Architectural, Lab, Medical, Kitchen, etc.), including interpreting equipment requirements + Project specifications for all equipment and installation methods + Ability to design control wiring diagram and electrical interlocks schemes for protecting electrical equipment. + Able to size wire, conduit and overcurrent protection for lighting and power applications. + Able to perform voltage drop calculations, calculate raceway and cable tray fill. + Properly size equipment, including, but not limited to switchboards, UPS and generator systems, distribution panelboards and motor control center loading. + Develop specifications and installation details of construction materials and equipment. + Knowledge and understanding of schedule constraints and information requirements to produce all electrical deliverables. + Develop and create Method of Procedures (MOP), and Sequence of Operations (SOP) to support construction execution effort + Documentation of design work in AutoCAD and REVIT in 2D and 3D platforms + Provide support of construction activities, including but not limited to, responses to Requests for Information, review of project equipment submittals, and technical support of operations management. + Research, prototype, and develop emerging technologies to implement the latest and best-in-bread capabilities to meet the customers' emerging needs. + Manage your time effectively and support multiple projects concurrently. Qualifications + ABET accredited Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or higher required with 5+ years of experience. + 5+ Years of Power/Electrical Engineering and UPS system design + Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information;
