POSITION SUMMARY

Electrical Engineers are key contributors within the client's Space Electronic Systems division, responsible for the design, development, integration, verification, and production support of advanced mixed-signal electronic hardware for space and defense applications. This role owns full life-cycle PCB/PCA development efforts, including component selection, circuit design and analysis, hardware bring-up, laboratory testing, formal design verification, and production support. Engineers apply rigorous electrical engineering principles to deliver high-reliability spaceborne electronics capable of operating across demanding radiation, temperature, vibration, aging, power, and mission environments. The ideal candidate is a hands-on board-level electrical design engineer with experience developing complex mixed-signal hardware from initial design through verification and production. Candidates should bring meaningful depth in at least one critical capability area, with radiation-aware circuit design and mitigation as the highest priority, followed by worst-case circuit analysis, rigorous design verification, and very-high-current electrical design. This is not a radiation-only, reliability-only, test-only, or analysis-only position; candidates must be capable electrical designers who can apply these disciplines directly to hardware. Required Qualifications Demonstrated experience in at least ONE of the following five capability areas: Radiation effects and mitigation — experience understanding radiation effects on electronic components and applying mitigation techniques within circuit or board-level designs Worst-case analysis or derating — experience performing worst-case circuit analysis, component derating, or similar analysis for high-reliability applications High-speed digital design — experience designing high-speed digital hardware operating at approximately 10+ gigabits per second per lane High-power design — experience designing high-current, low-voltage power architectures operating at approximately 100+ amps Design verification — experience performing rigorous design verification for high-reliability electronic hardware Demonstrated hands-on mixed-signal PCB/PCA electrical design experience, including component selection, schematic design, circuit-level analysis, hardware bring-up, testing, and integration Experience supporting hardware across the development lifecycle, including design, analysis, bring-up, verification, and production support Experience developing electronics for spaceflight, aerospace, defense, or another high-reliability environment Experience with circuit simulation, circuit analysis, and hardware integration, test, and debug tools Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical degree 6+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 4+ years with a Master's degree

•Candidates are not expected to have experience in all five areas . Strong, demonstrated experience in one or more of these capabilities satisfies the specialized technical requirement. Preferred Qualifications Experience in more than one of the five specialized capability areas listed above Direct experience designing electronics for satellites, spacecraft, or other spaceflight hardware Full life-cycle ownership of complex mixed-signal PCB/PCA designs from concept through production Experience with FPGA and microprocessor-based hardware Experience with Xilinx family devices, including Zynq UltraScale+ architecture Experience with circuit simulation, signal integrity, power integrity, and related electrical analysis tools and techniques Experience designing for demanding or rugged environments, including radiation, temperature extremes, shock, and vibration Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium design tools within IPC standards Working knowledge of PCI, PCIe, cPCI, VME, and VPX standards About H10 H10 is an engineering services and consulting firm with a nationwide presence. Our teams support clients across mechanical and hardware engineering, software and application development, data and analytics, and project and program management.
