Function as the lead / responsible engineer (RE) for replacement of the Automatic Voltage Regulator, Generator Protection Relays, Main Generator, and Exciter replacement projects for North Anna Units 1 and 2. The RE's roles and responsibilities include the following: Lead development of design changes in accordance with applicable station and industry guidance Coordinate technical reviews and support from internal and external stakeholders and engineering disciplines to ensure quality design changes and project deliverables Provide input into drawing updates in support of design development Review vendor drawings, testing documentation, test plans, reports, specifications, and technical manuals Provide design bases document reviews and revisions as required Provide field implementation support Monitor project schedule and provide input/updates to the project manager for deliverables and milestones Oversee design engineering tasks performed by contracted external resources Support other electrical / I&C projects as needed during design development and implementation Top 3 Required Skills 1) Competency in applying engineering principles, fundamental concepts, practices, procedures, and standards to solve complex problems and achieve project objectives.
