Job Description
Overview:
We are currently hiring an Electrical Engineer who will be focusing primarily on Refueling and Complex Overhaul (RCOH) and electrical systems for nuclear aircraft carriers.Description:
+ Use electrical and electronic principles to analyze, assemble, and document system components. +Testing & Prototyping:
Support design, testing, modification, and assembly of prototype electromechanical systems. +Quality Control:
Conduct quality testing and document performance results. + Areas of focus: + Generators, load center switchboards, and transformers. + Circuit breakers and 60Hz/400Hz power systems. + Illumination and lighting circuits. + Machinery control and monitoring systems. + Interior communications and alarm circuits. + Fiber optic cable plants, radar, radio, and combat systems.Qualifications:
+ US Citizenship. + BS in Engineering. + 5 years of relevant experience. + Experience with 3 phase power. + Experience with Naval power and/or propulsion. + Experience with power generation and distribution. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Newport News, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
