Job Description

Job Description Design high-speed digital circuit boards and subsystems for new product development. Develop schematics and complex multilayer PCB layouts using tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or Mentor Graphics. Design and validate high-speed interfaces including: PCIe USB 3.x / USB4 Ethernet (1G/10G/25G/40G/100G)
DDR3/DDR4/DDR5 MIPI SATA
SerDes Perform Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) analysis and simulations. Define PCB stackups, routing constraints, impedance requirements, and design rules. Conduct board bring-up, debugging, and validation testing.
Use lab equipment such as:
Oscilloscopes Spectrum analyzers Network analyzers Logic analyzers TDR/VNA equipment Troubleshoot signal quality, EMI/EMC compliance issues, and timing problems. Collaborate with FPGA, firmware, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams. Support DFM, DFT, EVT, DVT, PVT, and manufacturing release activities. Create technical documentation, test plans, and design specifications. https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline. 5+ years of hardware design experience. Experience designing high-speed digital PCBs and embedded hardware systems.
Strong understanding of:
Signal Integrity (SI) Power Integrity (PI) EMC/EMI principles Transmission line theory High-speed routing techniques Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence, Mentor). Knowledge of multilayer PCB stackups, impedance control, differential pair routing, and length matching. Experience with FPGA-based designs (Xilinx, Intel/Altera). Familiarity with RF design concepts and wireless communications.
