Updated 08/25/2026 Job Description Job Summary DPP is seeking an Electrical Engineer for an opportunity with our client in the Engineering industry. Work location: Onsite in Virginia Beach, VA
Duration:
6 months
Terms:
W2 Contract Work authorization: US Citizen; must hold a current/active Top Secret - SCI clearance
Position Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will support a team that performs advanced research, development, and systems engineering to ensure warfighter superiority across training systems, cyber warfare, fleet readiness, and sustainment solutions for the U.S. Navy. This role will be responsible for ensuring systems are working and communicating together through system design, review, testing, analysis, modeling, reporting, etc., especially in situations involving signals and electronic warfare.
Responsibilities:
Perform systems engineering activities on Cryptologic Carry-On Equipment (COE) and Electronic Warfare (EW) programs supporting military intelligence operations Support integration of tactical electronic systems across U.S. Navy platforms Support COE/EW deployment concepts and operational use Apply RF engineering principles to design, analysis, and system performance evaluation Collaborate with cross functional engineering and program teams to ensure system effectiveness and compliance
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in any engineering discipline Active TS/SCI clearance / a CI poly is a major plus (not required to start) 4+ years of experience in: Systems engineering on COE or EW programs Fully integrated tactical systems for military intelligence missions Engineering support for U.S. Navy and warfare systems. 3+ years of experience in: COE/EW concepts and operational deployment RF design and analysis, including: Propagation prediction and measurement Receiver modeling and analysis Signal detection and characterization Non cooperative demodulation of signals of interest Antenna array modeling Operating systems experience in Windows and Linux Interested?
