AT3 Staffing is partnering with a global aerospace and defense manufacturer in search of a Senior Electrical Product Line Engineer to join their growing team. This organization is a recognized leader in the design and production of highly engineered avionics, sensing, and control solutions that support commercial aviation, military platforms, and next-generation aerospace technologies worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges in a hands-on manufacturing environment. You'll play a critical role in supporting sophisticated avionics and aerospace computer products while working closely with operations, quality, supply chain, design engineering, and test teams to drive production success, continuous improvement, and innovation. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary technical resource supporting production operations, including assembly, testing, inspection, and manufacturing processes. Partner with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, manufacturing yield, throughput, and overall operational efficiency. Lead process improvement initiatives involving capital equipment, tooling, automation, and manufacturing methodologies, evaluating projects based on cost-benefit analysis and business impact. Analyze component and product test failures, identify trends, perform root cause investigations, and implement effective corrective actions. Support and mentor technicians through product training, troubleshooting guidance, and test system expertise. Investigate supplier-related technical issues and collaborate directly with vendors to resolve material and component concerns. Develop expertise in assigned test systems, hardware platforms, and manufacturing processes. Work closely with Test Equipment Engineers to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and minimize test-induced failures. Perform capacity planning and utilization analysis to support staffing, equipment investments, and production growth strategies. Collaborate with fellow engineers across multiple disciplines to share knowledge and drive best practices. Interface with design engineering teams to support product sustainment activities, including design updates, obsolescence management, tolerance concerns, and production yield improvements. Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with established quality and manufacturing standards. Drive projects and assignments with a strong sense of urgency and ownership. Travel occasionally to supplier or customer locations as needed. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related electronics-focused engineering discipline from an ABET-accredited university. Minimum of 5 years of Electrical Engineering experience. At least 2 years of experience supporting manufacturing, production engineering, or electronics troubleshooting environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement initiatives, root cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies. Programming experience with Python and/or LabVIEW. Hands-on component-level troubleshooting experience on complex circuit card assemblies. Strong proficiency using electronic diagnostic equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and related test instruments. Background supporting circuit card assemblies, wiring harnesses, avionics systems, industrial computers, or related electronic products. Mechanical aptitude including fixture design, tooling, and electromechanical assembly processes. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve complex technical challenges and mitigate operational risks. Understanding of statistical analysis and data-driven decision making. Experience identifying trends within manufacturing and test data to drive improvements. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across engineering, operations, quality, and leadership teams. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience utilizing AI-powered tools for data analysis and process improvement. Knowledge of
