The City of Richland is looking for a well-qualified Electrical Distribution Engineer II to join our team! Pay Range $125,299.20- $182,208.00 Annual Midpoint $153,753.60 Starting salaries generally fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range. Each offer depends on the candidate's experience and qualifications, internal pay equity, and available budget. Salary offers are negotiated individually based on these factors.
SUMMARY OF POSITION
Performs difficult skilled technical work designing and managing major, complex engineering projects involved in the development of distribution systems for the electric utility, and related work as apparent or assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree with coursework in electrical engineering, engineering, or related field Six (6) or more years' experience in electrical utilities engineering, broadband design, planning and project administration. Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's license Possession of Washington State Professional Electrical Engineer's license upon hire and maintain throughout employment.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
Utility Experience System Modeling experience including load flow and coordination. System Protection experience including relays and fusing. Substation including design review, contract management, troubleshooting and metering. AutoCAD experience
