As a result of our continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity available for a limited-term, full-time summer Electrical Engineering intern starting May/June 2027 and ending in August/September 2027 with our Architecture & Building Engineering (A&BE) Group. The A&BE Group focuses on the design of buildings for airport, government, and private clients. This internship is available at our office location in Madison, WI.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting engineers and design technicians with electrical engineering projects Performing design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates Assisting with preparing project reports May also perform field inspections on occasion Other tasks as assigned A valid driver's license and minimal travel will be required. Successful candidates must have completed at least two semesters of college-level coursework in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or university. The ideal candidate may have any/all the following: Experience with Revit, AGI-32, Easypower, and/or SKM PTW software Previous electrical building design coursework Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs (such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) At Mead & Hunt we shape the future by putting people first.
