Job Description

Strang is seeking a highly motivated Junior Electrical Engineer/Designer to join our growing organization and be a part of a Design Synchronicity Culture. As a Junior Electrical Engineer/Designer, you will assist and work closely with Strang's team of design professionals on a variety of exciting project types.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with clients and the project design team to engineer the appropriate electrical systems for each unique project Assist in the design, calculation, and documentation of building electrical distribution system, lighting and controls, and fire alarm systems Assist with selecting and specifying devices, fixtures, components, and equipment Assist with the production of construction documents (such as plans, details, schedules, specifications) and construction administration Assist with estimating project costs What you bring to the team: Professional attitude, ownership, and passion in your work. A level of knowledge and desire to lifelong learning. Ability to work in a team setting with interdisciplinary collaboration . Committed to mentoring and training others, respect, and loyalty to one another at Strang. Qualifications 1+ years of experience and progress towards professional licensure preferred Possess innovative thinking skills and a passion for architecture and engineering design Possess a foundational knowledge of electrical systems for complex building types Familiar with the current Electrical and Building Codes Foundational knowledge of power distribution systems, interior and exterior lighting, and life safety systems helpful Experience with architectural and specialty lighting design helpful
Software Experience Preferred:
