What You Will Do Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in existing products or systems and makes modifications as needed Compile and evaluate design and test data Analyze, develop, and recommend design approaches May use computer-aided engineering or other design/analysis software in the performance of assignments Provide regular reporting of progress and status Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems and services Develop prototypes to retire key development risks as directed Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field + at least 8 years of experience in design and product development Knowledge of power electronics, power distribution, circuit board design, and/or semi-conductors is much preferred Motivated and engaged; comfortable in a team environment but also okay with working independently sometimes Willing and able to mentor junior engineers U.S. Citizenship required. This position may require an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment. Job Summary Join our team of talented Engineers as a Senior Electrical Engineer.
