In this role you will work to document and standardize their existing heating and refrigeration products from an electrical perspective, and work to develop new products and revisions to legacy products. This is as growing division of a larger organization, and you will have the ability to make a great impact the products and the company. You will report to the Engineering Manager. Health, dental and vision insurance Life and disability insurance PTO and Paid Holidays 401k with 4% company match Gym membership Tuition reimburs ations ement Bonus programs Companywide celebrations What you will be doing: Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems for commercial equipment that heats and / or refrigerates, including heating circuits, temperature controls, wiring harnesses, sensors, and power distribution components. Initially fully document the electrical systems of all existing products and then move into analyzing how to take what are generally custom products, standardize them into various models and also work to design new products. Support products throughout the complete development lifecycle from concept and prototype through validation, production release, and continuous improvement. Develop electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and engineering documentation utilizing SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and PDM. Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers to integrate electrical and mechanical systems into robust, manufacturable product designs. Lead and support product validation, performance testing, reliability testing, and root cause failure analysis. Work closely with Manufacturing to troubleshoot production issues, support pilot builds, improve assembly processes, and implement design improvements that enhance manufacturability and quality. Partner with Supply Chain and suppliers to evaluate electrical components, resolve technical issues, qualify new components, and support cost reduction initiatives. Ensure products comply with applicable regulatory and safety requirements including UL, NSF, CSA, ETL, and DOE standards. Provide technical support to Quality, Tech Service, Sales, and other cross-functional teams to resolve field issues and improve product performance. Travel occasionally to suppliers, manufacturing partners, customers, or industry events as required.

What they are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline required. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience designing electrical systems for products, not working on the production equipment. (Products that are heated or refrigerated would be ideal) Experience supporting products through the complete product development lifecycle, from concept through production. Experience working in a manufacturing environment with responsibility for production support and continuous improvement. Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, validation, and failure analysis. Experience working with regulatory certification agencies and applicable safety standards is preferred. Apply
