Description:
Designs and develops layouts for electrical circuits or systems for power distribution. Assists in the production of detailed schematics. Communicates technical changes and instructions to less skilled production operators and design engineers. Duties and Responsibilities Interprets electrical and mechanical schematics and builds product. Changes any design changes or mistakes. Communicates technical changes and instructions to less skilled production operators and design engineers. Builds higher end product solutions as requested by management. Leads project teams on the floor that are partnering on a given solution. Provides team leadership to project teams. Executes inspecting, testing and evaluation of products built. Provides recommendations to improve quality processes. Identifies root cause analysis regarding design issues and suggest solutions. Creates technical work instructions. Education Associates' Degree (U.S.)/College Diploma (Canada) Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem solving skills. General knowledge of the Engineering both electrical and mechanical. Strong computer skills. Working Environment General Office - Work is generally performed within an office environment, with standard office equipment. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Physical Requirements Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10% of the time. Work may require excessive bending or stooping. Employee required to use hand tools. Mental Requirements Employee required to analyze and interpret complex data. Employee required to calibrate precise measurements. Employee required to problem-solve.
