Job Description
Mission As an active and contributing member of the Project Team, the Plan Detailer (PD) relentlessly plans commercial and industrial electrical construction projects while identifying opportunities for efficiency through design, engineering, and fabrication. Responsibilities understand the entirety of the electrical construction process from design through project close-out for large commercial and industrial projects. establish and utilize a systematic approach to detailing projects to achieve job site success. creates basic designs and outlines installation techniques and strategies that support internal and external goals of the project. collaborate with PM, Foremen, and Construction Services Team through lessons learned and best practices. build positive and effective working relationships with internal and external project teams. have an unwavering commitment to providing responsive customer service, and quality of service even after hours. are passionate about the continuous improvement of processes and as such monitor and analyze department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy. are passionate about inspiring others to both perform at an exceptional level and to seek greater knowledge through continual learning. own the outcomes of your work and that of your team. actively recruit and develop exceptional team members. are a champion of safety. are highly organized, detailed-oriented, and efficient. demonstrate computer literacy in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam. demonstrate a deep understanding of both universal and electrical codes; NEC, IEE, ISA, etc. have a minimum of 10 years of commercial and industrial electrical construction experience. visualize projects as a sequence of structured events. are energized by challenges and believe each is an opportunity to find a solution. re-engineered your toys as a child. laugh hysterically at DIY programs on cable. your garage is organized meticulously.
