Electrical Designer Details:

Direct Hire position $90,000.00 to $125,000.00 /annually First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm) Create, revise, and maintain electrical power, control, and instrumentation drawings using AutoCAD Electrical and AutoCAD, working from engineering markups, schematics, and technical documentation. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics to support product design updates, new product development, and engineering projects. Manage bills of materials (BOMs), parts data, and product documentation while collaborating with procurement to ensure timely delivery of quality products. Work closely with engineers, designers, manufacturing, and operations teams to resolve design challenges, support troubleshooting efforts, and improve drawing accuracy and efficiency. Participate in design reviews and engineering meetings, apply applicable electrical codes and industry standards, and provide guidance to entry-level drafters and designers as needed.

Electrical Designer Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, CAD Design, or a related field, with 4+ years of electrical design and troubleshooting experience. Ability to read, interpret, and work from electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications. Proficient in identifying electrical symbols, design callouts, and applying electrical principles to support design and production activities. Strong mathematical aptitude, including electrical load calculations, voltage calculations, dimensions, percentages, geometry, and basic algebra. Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams, complete documentation such as NCRs, and maintain compliance with safety standards.
