PLC ENGINEER
Deerfield Beach based manufacturer. Degree required, with 3-5 years experience. Allen Bradley PLC programming
EXPERIENCE
required., Siemens programming helpful. SCADA and networking experience required. ( Experience with design of control/panels and systems a plus.) AutoCAD experience will be helpful. Some travel required. We are a 40 year old company with stability, growth, and excellent benefits. Salary dependent on ability. DFWP. Principals only.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Electrical Engineering degree preferred, will consider other qualifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop PLC and HMI programs Establish and troubleshoot network and SCADA customer interfaces. Develop control schemes and select electrical hardware/software for panels. Develop Engineering Instructions and Operating Logic Select electrical components
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS LOGIX 5000 PLC
programming. Ability to read and interpret specifications and wiring diagrams. Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) Ability to multi task and meet critical deadlines Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to take on new challenges Good communication skills essential for team-based work and collaboration Resourceful in problem solving.
