Applicants should be intrinsically motivated, have a positive attitude and be committed to designing and programming high quality systems. This position requires the implementation of control systems, computer/PLC/HMI programming, electrical controls knowledge and process engineering skills.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for industrial automation projects from conception to completion. Candidates will work independently and take direction from the team. Must be well-organized and demonstrate project and time management skills. Identifies, communicates, and overcomes obstacles that may prohibit meeting project goals. Must communicate effectively with customers as well as answer and/or troubleshoot customer questions.

Requirements:

Proficiency in PLC software programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens, CodeSys). Proficiency in HMI graphics development (Wonderware/InTouch, Ignition, Siemens, FactoryTalk View). Experience with electrical troubleshooting, motor control systems, database development and networking (SQL and SQL scripts). Expertise in AutoCAD including the ability to read/design/understand PLC panel schematics, P&ID, MCC's and network drawings. Experience with control panel design is preferred. Travel is up to 50% and varies based on project workload. When not traveling, candidate will work from their home office to complete other assigned projects.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's or AA/Technical degree (required) PLC and HMI programming and development: 3-5 years (required)

AutoCad:

1 year (required)

Project Management:

1 year (preferred) Salary based on level of experience
