About the Role We are seeking an experienced Industrial PLC Programmer & Electrician to join our team in Centralia, IL. This exciting role combines technical expertise in both automation and electrical systems, with a direct impact on production efficiency and overall plant performance. What You'll Do PLC Programming & Automation Develop, modify, troubleshoot, and repair PLC programs Design and implement new control strategies to improve manufacturing processes Work with PLC products, while supporting additional platforms (Automation Direct, GE Fanuc, Siemens, Data Flow Systems) Learn and adapt quickly to new PLC manufacturers and software as required Electrical Maintenance & Support Install, repair, and maintain industrial electrical systems, panels, and equipment Diagnose and correct wiring issues, component failures, and system malfunctions Ensure compliance with electrical codes, plant standards, and safety regulations Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Spend significant time on the plant floor, partnering with cross-functional teams Apply knowledge of industrial process instrumentation for seamless integration Provide documentation, training, and support for long-term system reliability What We're Looking For 5+ years of PLC programming experience or 2+ years of technical/trade school with a focus on PLCs and electrical systems Strong hands-on skills in both automation and electrical tasks Proficiency with Allen Bradley systems (required); familiarity with other PLC platforms a plus Solid understanding of industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting, and instrumentation Strong problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and teamwork skills Why Join Us?
