In this PLC Programmer opportunity, you'll support electrical and controls projects for major manufacturing customers, with a hands-on role that combines PLC programming, HMI development, commissioning, and on-site troubleshooting. You can also be considered for a remote hire with an excellent background, with travel typically planned to keep time on the road as limited as possible. Qualifications and responsibilities for this PLC Programmer position include: Experience is key, including where you worked in the past and your hands-on PLC/controls background. Electrical Engineering and PLC programming experience, including commissioning and project management of large control systems. Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC experience with a strong understanding of ladder logic, structured text, and sequential function blocks. HMI development experience using Rockwell Automation tools (server/client applications). Experience with Ethernet/IP; DeviceNet, DH+, and RIO communication is beneficial. Start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting experience on industrial systems. Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and work effectively with technical teams and customers. Availability for North America travel (about 60%); typically 2-week maximum travel with some 3-week exceptions, and often up to 60 hours during travel weeks.

Salary:

$38 - $50 per hour (commensurate with experience).
