Job Description
Description MEP Coordinator Dallas, TX | An award-winning architecture and design firm is seeking an MEP Coordinator to support the successful delivery of complex commercial projects. This role will serve as the key link between architectural and engineering disciplines, ensuring seamless coordination of building systems and improving the quality and constructability of project documents. Responsibilities Coordinate architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines throughout the design process. Review construction documents and shop drawings to identify and resolve conflicts before construction. Facilitate multidisciplinary coordination meetings and communicate design issues with project teams and consultants. Ensure MEP systems are properly integrated within architectural designs. Perform quality control reviews to improve the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of project documentation. Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical coordination challenges. Assist with constructability reviews and help identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and reduce field conflicts. Support projects throughout design, permitting, and construction phases. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in the AEC industry with a background in MEP systems, construction, architecture, or engineering. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing building systems. Experience reviewing construction documents, shop drawings, and coordination drawings. Ability to identify clashes and coordination issues across multiple disciplines. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Revit and BIM coordination processes preferred. Familiarity with building codes, construction practices, and multidisciplinary project delivery. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
