Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Autocad Eplan Designer to join our engineering team, specializing in electrical system design and documentation. The ideal candidate will utilize advanced CAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to develop detailed electrical schematics, layout designs, and system models for diverse construction and manufacturing projects. This role is essential in translating conceptual engineering requirements into precise technical drawings, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and standards such as NEC and NFPA 70. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate, comprehensive CAD documentation that supports project execution from conception through installation.
Responsibilities Keys:
  • AutoCAD Electrical and/or E-Plan
  • NFPA79 Electrical Standards
  • Power Calculations
  • UL508A Electrical Standards
REQUIRED
    Industrial CAD Software:
    High proficiency in specialized electrical design tools, specifically EPLAN Electric P8 or AutoCAD Electrical.
      Regulatory Codes:
      Deep working knowledge of industrial safety and electrical standards, notably NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79, and UL 508A (or
      IEC 60204
      for European markets).
        Motor Control:
        Mastery of motor control circuits, including direct-on-line starters, soft starters, and VFD configurations.
          Short Circuit Calculations:
          Ability to calculate short-circuit current ratings (SCCR) and perform voltage drop calculations. Nice To Have
