Job Description
Controls Engineer responsible for Allen-Bradley PLC programming, FANUC robot integration, HMI development, electrical controls support, and onsite automation commissioning. Job Requirements Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming. Experience with FANUC robot programming and integration. Understanding of electrical circuits. Knowledge of electrical panel design. Knowledge of pneumatic system design. Knowledge of hydraulic system design. Experience with PLCs and industrial controls. Experience with HMI development and configuration. Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs). Experience with servo applications. Experience with industrial device communication networks. Experience with DeviceNet (DNET). Experience with Ethernet-based industrial networks (ENET). Experience with Profibus. Ability to support approximately 3 weeks of offline development work followed by approximately 3 weeks of onsite commissioning work in Pennsylvania. Preferred Skills Experience with automated manufacturing equipment. Experience with machine integration and commissioning. Experience supporting offline controls development. Experience integrating PLC, HMI, robotics, VFD, servo, and industrial communication systems. Experience troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls systems. Job Responsibilities Develop and modify Allen-Bradley PLC programs. Program and integrate FANUC robotic systems. Develop and configure HMI applications. Support electrical controls and panel design activities. Integrate pneumatic and hydraulic control systems. Configure VFD and servo applications. Configure and troubleshoot DeviceNet, Ethernet, and Profibus communication networks. Perform offline controls development and system testing. Support machine integration and functional testing. Perform onsite equipment startup and commissioning. Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, robot, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and network-related issues. Support system validation and final equipment implementation at the customer site.
