Job Description
Job Title:
Electrical Designer Essential Skills 1-3 years of experience in electrical design for industrial and/or commercial facilities. Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM Electrical design for lighting, power, fire alarm and security systems Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience preparing electrical drawings and specifications for industrial and commercial facilities. Familiarity with building information modeling (BIM) workflows and coordination processes. Ability to perform basic electrical calculations and load analyses under the guidance of a licensed engineer. Interest in staying current with evolving electrical technologies and industry trends. Job Description The Electrical Designer will support the design and development of efficient, code-compliant electrical systems for industrial and commercial facilities. In this role, you will collaborate closely with electrical engineers, architects, and multidisciplinary project teams to create electrical design solutions, produce detailed drawings and specifications, and assist throughout all phases of project delivery. You will contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects and play a key role in ensuring safe, reliable, and well-coordinated electrical systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.44 - $33.65/hr.
