Job Description
Job Summary APS Innovation is seeking a PLC Engineer to join our automation team. This role will be responsible for supporting PLC programming, troubleshooting automated equipment, and assisting with continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation in industrial automation, and is comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Troubleshoot PLC controlled equipment and identify root causes of machine or process issues. Modify and maintain existing PLC programs to support production and equipment improvements. Assist with commissioning, testing, and debugging automation systems. Support preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives. Document programming changes and system updates. Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues. Communicate effectively with both English and Korean speaking teams. Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Technology, or a related field. Basic knowledge of industrial automation and PLC systems. Familiarity with Siemens or Mitsubishi PLCs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root cause analysis. Ability to modify and maintain PLC programs under the guidance of senior engineers. Preferred Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or industrial automation Experience with HMI systems, industrial networking, or electrical controls Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness to learn and grow in an industrial automation environment Korean (Preferred) Join us as a PLC Engineer to be at the forefront of automation innovation!
