As an intern, you'll get hands-on experience right away, working alongside project teams and partners to keep things moving. Responsibilities BLUvera , Mortenson's vertically integrated self-perform manufacturing and prefabrication affiliate, utilizes advanced design, engineering, and 3D modeling to deliver and install prefabricated construction products on Mortenson projects. By utilizing DfMA principles (design for manufacturing and assembly), our BLUvera team leverages technology in the manufacture and fabrication of steel frame wall panels and data center components for our project sites. The BLUvera team continually enhances offerings in prefabricated scopes of work that drive value for Mortenson as a whole. Highlights of your work as an intern with this team will include: Completing construction change orders Handling shop drawings, submittals, and the request for information (RFI) processes Assisting with purchase orders and subcontractor agreements Partnering in construction sequencing and schedule maintenance Collaborating with team in preconstruction and pre-installation meetings Attending subcontractor coordination meetings and assisting with correspondence Utilizing industry-leading technology and software to assist in manufacturing for construction processes. Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
Have previous related internship experience Are currently enrolled as an undergraduate junior Have a basic understanding of construction and generally accepted business practices Demonstrate strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills and show initiative and leadership Showcase a positive and professional attitude and solid customer service skills Are detail-oriented, organized, and can effectively handle multiple competing priorities The hourly wage for college Interns starts at $18. Students may be paid higher wages based on their year in school.
